Central Coast Scenic Sips has launched
Central Coast Scenic Sips is a brand-new artisan beverage trail that Central Coast visitors can follow in a day or over a weekend getaway. The trail is made up of a craft brewery, a fruit winery and a boutique distillery which are conveniently located within six minutes of each other – perfect for bike riders and walkers too.
The concept has come to fruition collaboratively between Chris Benson of Six Strings Brewing, Nadia O’Connell of Firescreek Winery and Philip Moore of Distillery Botanica, to promote the thriving beverage industry on the Central Coast.
“Each venue is perfectly positioned in the lush country-like areas of Erina Heights, Holgate and Matcham Valley and just an easy 15 minute drive from many of the Central Coast’s beautiful coastline and beaches” says Nadia O’Connell of Firescreek Winery.
Rather than competing against one another, the three venues saw the benefit in joining forces by developing a beverage trail, that can now be considered as a tourism attraction in itself.
“We really want to attract the day-trippers and weekenders. The Central Coast is only a 45-minute drive from the start of the M1 in Sydney and Newcastle” says Philip Moore of Distillery Botanica.
At all the locations, enjoy complimentary tastings, meet the makers and learn the subtle art of brewing, wine making and distilling.
The Central Coast is fast becoming a gourmet-lovers paradise, with an array of restaurants, cafes and bars. The ‘foodie’ scene is growing, with an appreciation for local and boutique produce. So why not support local artisan beverage makers?
Central Coast Scenic Sips is now another reason to visit the unique region.
